It is an old house with rolling floors and odd corners and Erwan was meticulous in cutting the tiles precisely and laying them exactly for a smooth final surface. He worked quickly and efficiently and left the place spotless after what was a dirty job (removing old carpet foams, grouting, etc). Highly recommend!

Erwan has renovated one medium sized bathroom … a kitchen and the adjacent art room … our master bathroom and bedroom … refaced our fireplace and in the coming months will renovate the lower level of our home. Erwan is a great craftsman … it doesn’t end there … he is also very artistic and creative. Many times when you are working on a home that is well built but not custom built, there are times that walls are not straight or angles plumb. Erwan will always work out a way to fix or compensate for builder errors so that the end product works! I am a very particular person with regard to the end product look … I have never had any bit of disappointment in any final work. They did a brilliant job correcting flaws left by earlier builders, with no short cuts or cheap solutions and absolutely perfect quality, At points, they improved the design we contracted with a home design firm, installing higher quality items and modifying the design. French Accent brought us top quality and brilliant results for a price under $17K (materials, appliances, etc. cost us an additional $16K). I recommend French without reservation for any project involving integrated carpentry, electrical, plumbing, appliances, or structural work, with advice on item cost-effectiveness, innovative solutions, and an artistic touch. This small firm reflects outstanding quality, low prices, personal integrity, and is a real find in the DC/NOVA area.

I would highly recommend French Accent LLC for future home renovation projects. We needed to replace our wood flooring in several rooms in our temple meeting spaces. Erwan was super timely in providing us with an estimate and met with me at a local flooring distributor to walk me through a number of different flooring options. He showed me the types of details that went into different flooring prices and the pros/cons of different materials and designs. Knowing our temple’s tight budget environment, Erwan did everything he could to help us meet our budget requirements and save materials that did not need to be replaced. He did all of the installations of the subfloors, layment, and wood flooring. Erwan went above and beyond in the installation, even meticulously cutting and installing additional joist support pieces near the room edges to ensure that furniture placed near the walls would be more than sufficiently supported. Our temple members ooh’d and ah’d over the new floors, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the final results or with Erwan’s skills and business practices. We would definitely recommend him to others and will look to work with Erwan again on future renovation projects.
